At DISCO79 we take great pride in offering you a completely professional service from your first enquiry until the last dance on the night of your prom event. Your disco is the biggest part of your Teen Party so it’s extremely important that you are happy with your choice in DJ and confident that they’ll keep everyone dancing until the very end!

We have provided hundreds of teen parties over the years and we have learned by listening to what young people want. Some may want a party with games whilst others just want chart music, R&B and Dance or maybe some classics too. You will have the opportunity to select all of the songs for your party should you wish to do so.

What’s included?

Professional DJ: John is a professional DJ with 20 years experience. He is able to use his DJ'ing skills and expertise at filling dance floors wherever he performs.

The Party: Depending on the age of the children you can choose whether to have just a disco with all the latest hits plus some classics or to have a Kids Fun Party or a combination of the two. The event is yours so you simply need to tell us what you want and we will provide.
 
Up to the minute tunes: We subscribe to Dance Hits for professional DJ's so every month we receive all the latest Radio releases, Dance releases, R&B releases and Club mixes well in advance of them hitting the shops and iTunes. If there are any tracks missing from our database that you want us to play at your teen party all you need to do is let us know and we will make every attempt to ensure that we have all of your selected songs on the night.   
 
The Equipment: We have a 11' lighting rig with professional lighting "gobos, scanners, room fillers, laser crabs, mirror ball and the latest digital lighting effects which are all designed to fill any size venue. This is enhanced by our  high tec smoke/fog machines. We have a 1600w amp and speakers with pro graphic equaliser to ensure the very best quality and clarity of sound. Best suited for medium/large venues with up to 400 guests although we have catered for much larger using this equipment with no complaints. For events larger than 400 guests please contact us by email for a quotation.
If you want we can include our projector to show your video's or very special effects lighting on request. Just ask. 
 
The Law: All of our equipment is PAT tested and is fully compliant with current health and safety legislation and we are covered by Public Liability Insurance (PLI) of £5m.
In all you will be paying for a professional DJ entertainment service.

The Music: Over 20000 songs to choose from on our interactive searchable database covering all genres and right up to the current charts. When you book with us you will be given a secure client area so that you can log on and "if you want to" select all of your play list for your party. We can also set your guests up with a page so that they too can choose songs. You are in total control.  There’s special effects dance lighting, video projector on request, a mic for speeches, an expert DJ who can make announcements. There’s a music system that sounds great at all volumes and a vast variety of music to suit all tastes, a superb professional lighting rig with smoke. It’s actually easier to tell you what isn’t included. We have it all.

Interactive Music Database: Once booked you will be set up with your own secure page so that you and your guests can select your play list for your event if you so wish from our online songs database.

Contract and Legal Matters: All of our bookings are confirmed by us online when booking and by email.
All of our equipment Portable Appliance Tested (‘PAT Tested’) This is a legal requirement to ensure that it is electrically safe to use in public. Our PAT test certificate can been seen on our Why page.
All the equipment is set-up before your Prom Guests arrive (unless you wish to arrange otherwise).
We have full Public Liability Insurance to £5m. The law states that all Disc Jockeys should be insured. Our PLI  policy can been seen on our Why page.
